Getting Around

By car

If you are driving your car, you can move into the Consortium territory following the SS 16 road, which connects all the coastal municipalities (Polignano a Mare, Monopoli and Fasano) and includes easy exit roads leading to the hinterland towns.

Alternatively, you can reach Putignano through the SS 100 Bari - Casamassima-Taranto exit Turi-Putignano, then take the road SS 172, called "Strada dei Trulli", in order to reach Locorotondo and Alberobello, or take the road SP 237 to Castellana Grotte or the road SP 424 to Noci.

By Train

From Monday to Saturday, the Ferrovie Del Sud Est rail and coach company connects all the municipalities of the consortium through the train service. On Sunday, the service is replaced by a bus provided by the same company, as explained in the next paragraph.

Trenitalia rail service operates every day linking Polignano, Monopoli and Fasano.

By Coach

From Monday to Saturday, the Ferrovie Del Sud Est rail and coach company connects all the municipalities of the consortium through the bus service. The same company operates also on Sunday replacing the train service and connecting Alberobello, Conversano, Castellana Grotte, Noci, Putignano and Locorotondo.

The SITA bus service connects Castellana Grotte and Monopoli.

The Lentini coach company connects Monopoli, Alberobello, Castellana Grotte and Putignano.
